INVITATION FROM THE EVENT CHAIR
Dear Colleague
Today, the life sciences advance at an exceptional rate, driven by a relentless pursuit of their fundamental principles and by an increase in their public relevance. New discoveries, new inventions, and new solutions continually add dimensions to the field and change the accepted theories. This symposium offers an insight into cutting-edge research occurring in the life sciences and covers a wide variety of topics from cancer research and stem cells to land-mine detection by plants.
The training program also covers topics such as:
• How to succeed a job interview
• Building your own start-up company
Experts such as Bertrand Jordan, Andreas Trumpp, Peter Beyer, Andrew Griffiths, Kaspar Binz, Manfred Merx, and Marc Le Bozec will give you the information, tools, and strategies that you need to lead effective research and biotech businesses today - and tomorrow.
Do not miss the keynote address by Nobel laureate Werner Arber: "Why and how to pursue a career in biotechnology."
Take advantage of the exhibition to meet key figures in industry and academia and to join colleagues with similar interests for thought-provoking discussions in the evening.
